The Employment Department has been as busy as ever, over the past 3 months. After a strict selection process, 7 successful candidates were selected to start the INSETA internship at Alexander Forbes to manage and maintain the pause areas on each floor. Additionally, 10 candidates will commence a NQF Level 1 Merchandising Learnership at AVI, a major brands company. We wish these 17 candidates well and look forward to their development and growth over the coming 12 months!

We remain committed to placing every graduate in some form of employment. To achieve this, we need to work together to break down the barriers that exist for people with intellectual disabilities in the open labour market. Beyond this, we also need to partner with various stakeholders to build bridges that will allow other young adults, like Ayanda, to enter and advance in various forms of employment.
