Get Involved
Invest in inclusion. Create real opportunity.
In South Africa, fewer than1% of people with disabilities are employed in the open labour market.
Behind that number are thousands of young adults who are willing and able to work, but who have never been given the opportunity.
At The Living Link, we are working to change that.
By supporting The Living Link, you are directly contributing to skills development, employment access, and breaking the cycle between disability and poverty.
A Story of What’s Possible
Siya's journey through support, growth and opportunity.

Why Support The Living Link
Young adults with disabilities in South Africa face extremely high levels of unemployment and limited access to further training.
Without intervention, many remain excluded from the economy and dependent on long-term support, reinforcing the cycle between disability and poverty.
Your support helps to:
- Create access to accredited training
- Build independence and work readiness
- Enable entry into the open labour market
- Reduce long-term dependency
- Drive meaningful, measurable inclusion
This is not charity.
It is investment in potential.

How Funding Works
The Living Link operates on a blended funding model, which includes family contributions, bursaries, corporate and CSI funding, and learnership funding. This shared approach ensures sustainability, accountability, and access, allowing more young adults to participate in the programme while maintaining a high standard of delivery and support.
